If you copy a URL from your browser's address bar, then the copy is placed on the computer clipboard. You can paste it into another application. In Android phone the copied items will be in your Android's clipboard, you can paste it into another app. You can access your Android clipboard using the Gboard app

In Windows, press Windows logo key + V to view clipboard history. From the clipboard history, you can paste and pin frequently used items by choosing an individual item from your clipboard menu.  Pinning an item keeps it from being removed from the clipboard history to make room for new items. You can change the clipboard setting in, Start>Settings>System>Clipboard.
