An SSD is generally much faster than a traditional HDD, which can make the computer start up and open applications more quickly. Therefore, RAM mainly determines how well a computer can work with information at the moment, while storage determines how much information the computer can keep for long-term use. A good computer needs enough of both for a smooth and efficient experience.
